Catherine is a British illustrator and artist based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Her work is inspired by a deep love of the natural world.

She grew up surrounded by countryside, immersed in nature and spent many hours playing outside, observing wildlife through the seasons.

She likes to capture the personality of flowers and the atmosphere of a scene. Her artworks are hand-painted using traditional techniques through a variety of mediums, mainly gouache and watercolour.

Catherine offers private commissions and makes original pieces of art and art prints to sell.

She also creates custom illustrations for businesses and offers designs for licensing. Her artworks are for use across a wide range of products including greetings cards, gift wrap, stationery, surface design, branding, puzzles & books.

Her love of colour and pattern are apparent in her work and developed whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University for a BA (Hons) degree in Decorative Arts followed by an MA in Textile Design. She went on to work as an in-house designer for a greetings card company for 10 years and has been working freelance since 2017. Her work has featured in various retailers and globally as far as Australia.

When she is not drawing and painting, Catherine enjoys walking in the great outdoors and spending time with her family. She loves to travel for inspiration.
