Catherine is a British artist based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Inspired by a deep connection to the natural world, drawing upon memories of a childhood spent in nature. 

Catherine’s fine art practice explores the organic form of flowers, movement and floral landscapes. She paints with intuitive mark making, using mainly acrylics, oil pastels and watercolours.

Her love of colour and pattern are apparent in her work and developed whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University for a BA (Hons) degree in Decorative Arts in 2001, followed by an MA in Textile Design 2002. 

Since Catherine has also worked as an illustrator in the greetings and gift sector on commercial projects for a variety of clients. She creates custom illustrations for businesses and offers commissions, with designs for licensing. Her artworks are for use across a wide range of products including stationery, surface design, branding, puzzles and books.  

Her work has featured in various retailers and globally as far as Australia.
